GREEN BAY (WKOW) — The Green Bay Packers and UW Health unveiled the UW Health Gate at Lambeau Field on Monday, marking a new partnership focused on cancer awareness and community health.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the north side entrance near Lombardi Avenue. The gate serves as a major entry point for fans on game days and during special events, providing access to the upper concourse, club and suite levels, and a rooftop viewing platform.

UW Health will serve as presenting partner of Packers vs. Cancer, helping support cancer awareness, screenings, survivor recognition and research at the UW Carbone Cancer Center.

“We see it a great value on the return on health, our ability to carry a message of healthy living, on screening, on prevention, on helping serve our communities, improving health across Wisconsin and beyond,” UW Health CEO Dr. Alan Kaplan told our affiliate WBAY.

The UW Health logo will appear as a patch on the team’s practice jerseys.

The gate naming is part of a broader collaboration announced last month at American Family Children’s Hospital, with the Packers and UW Health planning to work together on community initiatives and fan-focused events throughout the year.
