While the new league year has been open for roughly two months, most of the top free agents across the NFL have signed either with their old teams or new ones for the 2026 season.

However, some are still unsigned, which had included former Miami Dolphins quarterback Skylar Thompson. That was until the 28-year-old reportedly signed with the Baltimore Ravens (via NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport).

Thompson spent six years at Kansas State before the Dolphins took him in the seventh round (No. 247 overall) of the 2022 NFL draft. He appeared in 10 games and started three for Miami, completing 58.7% of his passes for 721 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions.

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed Thompson last year, but the quarterback missed most of the year due to a hamstring injury that he suffered in practice.

Now, he’ll join Baltimore’s quarterback room that also boasts Lamar Jackson, Tyler Huntley, Diego Pavia and Joe Fagnano.
