AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – The Panhandle is home to numerous football players that have had successful NFL careers, and now, former Gruver Greyhounds, Jalin Conyers, is ready to make a name for himself as a Miami Dolphin.
While Conyers was not drafted throughout the seven rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft, he signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent shortly after.
Conyers has been guaranteed a salary of $100,000 and an additional signing bonus of $15,000.
He was a part of the the Gruver football team for two years and made it to the class 2A state title game back in 2018.
In college, he started his career at Oklahoma before transferring to Arizona State. He then landed at Texas Tech last year for his final year of eligibility.
