The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Thursday they had signed nine of their 2026 draft picks, including Battlefield High School graduate Wesley Williams.
The signings come a day before rookie mini-camp begins.
Jacksonville selected the former Duke defensive lineman in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft. The Jaguars traded up five spots to take Williams as their first pick of the final day of the draft.
The former Duke defensive lineman entered the three-day draft as a projected third-day pick for rounds four through seven. Williams was the 19th overall pick of the fourth round and No. 119 overall.
The Jaguars were one of three teams who formally met with Williams at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.
Jaguars defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile said the Jaguars “love” Williams’ “play style,” calling him a “super-physical kid” with “a lot of position flexibility.”
