The Tennessee Titans and first-round pick Carnell Tate have agreed on a contract, The Tennessean confirmed per a source on May 8.
Tate, the wide receiver who the Titans selected with the No. 4 pick in the draft, has reportedly agreed to a four-year, fully-guaranteed deal worth $51.1 million, including a $33.6 million signing bonus.

The Titans selected Tate with the No. 4 pick, making him the highest wide receiver drafted in 2026 and the highest-picked wide receiver the Titans franchise has selected since the NFL-AFL merger in 1970. The Titans selected Tate over top defensive options including his Ohio State teammates Sonny Styles and Arvell Reese.

Tate was the first of two first-round picks the Titans selected in 2026. The Titans also traded back into the first round to select edge rusher Keldric Faulk with the No. 31 pick. Faulk remains unsigned by the Titans, as does second-round pick Anthony Hill Jr., a linebacker.
Tate and the rest of the Titans’ rookies reported for Titans rookie minicamp on May 1, but the draft picks did not participate in on-field practice activities. The rookies will report along with veterans for OTAs in May and for mandatory minicamp in June.
