Binghamton native Colbie Young is taking part in the Cincinnati Bengals rookie minicamp.
Young, along with other rookies, was on the field Friday for the first of two workouts. He joins a wide receiver room that includes NFL stars Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.
“There’s no doubt in mind that I am very perfect fit for this team,” said Young, when speaking with reporters. “I can be plugged in everywhere, there’s no liability on my end.”
Young was recently selected in the fourth round of the NFL Draft by the Bengals with the 140th overall pick. Cincinnati announced Friday that Young has officially signed his contract.
