Tom Brady spent two decades picking apart defenses. On Sunday night at the Kia Forum, he picked apart a fan base instead.
Brady appeared at “The Roast of Kevin Hart,” part of the “Netflix Is a Joke” festival, and while the evening was built around Hart, Brady came with material of his own. With Shane Gillis hosting and a packed dais taking shots at Hart all night, Brady picked his moment and went after Hart’s Philadelphia Eagles fandom to make a broader point about Cowboys fans.
“It looks like we actually have some real Eagles fans here. Yeah. Not like Kevin, who only shows up with the big games when the Eagles are playing well. You know, Kev, we actually have a name for those people. They’re called Cowboys fans.”
Brady went 7-0 against Dallas in the regular season during his career, so the confidence behind that line makes sense. The Cowboys did beat him once when it mattered, though, a 31-14 postseason win in January 2023 that ended his perfect record against them.

Brady Takes Aim at Draymond Green Too
Brady looked noticeably more comfortable here than he did at his own roast in 2024 when he spent most of the night on the receiving end. This time around he was loose and ready. When he saw Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green on the dias, he didn’t hesitate.
“Draymond Green is here. Yeah. Draymond’s here. For now, he’ll probably get thrown out in the next 10 minutes. You know we’re not roasting Steve Kerr, right?”
Given that Green’s 2025-26 season has been defined by technicals and flare-ups, it was the kind of line that writes itself. Brady delivered it straight and it worked.
Brady’s Own Roast Night
For anyone who missed Brady’s headline roast in 2024, it was a different kind of evening entirely. Kevin Hart and “Roastmaster General” Jeff Ross hosted the event at the Kia Forum and Brady spent the night absorbing jokes rather than throwing them.
Nikki Glaser, Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski all took the mic and his divorce from Gisele Bündchen was a recurring target throughout the night. The jokes about her jiu-jitsu instructor boyfriend kept coming, and reactions online were split over where the line was.
Brady has since moved into media work and holds a part-ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders. Judging by Sunday night, he’s getting more comfortable in front of the camera in every setting he steps into.
