According to Tampa Bay’s website, Hurst will get work at the “X” spot, which was his primary position in college.
Also according to the Bucs’ website, Hurst has “the speed to push the field vertically and pairs proficient footwork at the top of routes with high-point skills.”
“I definitely feel like I still got something to prove,” Hurst said in a press conference after mini-camp. “There’s a lot of doubters on my potential and where I can go at in this profession. But I had that talk with myself and it’s kind of like a little fuel to my fire.”
The NFL will release the Bucs’ schedule on Thursday. Training camp will be in mid-July.
