EAST RUHERFORD, N.J. (WCYB) — Former Tennessee High and Virginia Tech football player Jaden Keller has been signed by the New York Jets.

Keller originally received an invite to the Las Vegas Raiders’ rookie mini camp.

But he was one of 31 rookies to try out for the Jets during mini camp as well.

Keller spent five seasons with the Hokies, appearing in games across each of his seasons.

In his senior season, Keller appeared in 11 games, ranking third on the team with 50 tackles.

The Bristol native’s main draw for NFL scouts was his athleticism. As he received a 9.69 Relative Athletic Score.

Keller and the Jets will be back in action for OTA Offseason Workouts on May 27.
