Dolphins RB surprisingly retires after rookie minicamp
Just days after their rookie minicamp sessions, the Miami Dolphins placed running back Le’Veon Moss on the reserve/retired list.
This means that the running back has decided to end his football journey just days after being one of 12 undrafted rookies that the Dolphins signed following the 2026 NFL draft.
Moss, 23, was a four-star recruit out of Istrouma High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, before spending four years at Texas A&M, where he earned All-SEC honors in 2024. In 32 career games, he rushed for 1,767 yards and 22 touchdowns on 5.5 yards per attempt and caught 24 passes for 236 yards.
The running back suffered some devastating injuries in college, which may have contributed to this decision.
