GREEN BAY − The Green Bay Packers signed wide receiver Sam Brown Jr. and waived defensive lineman Jeremiah Martin, the organization announced Thursday.
The Packers currently have 13 receivers on the 90-man roster.

Brown, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound undrafted rookie free agent, participated in the Miami Dolphins’ rookie minicamp this month.

He played college football at West Virginia (2020-21), Houston (2022-23) and Miami (2024). He recorded 149 receptions with 1,903 yards and nine touchdowns over his career. During the 2023 season in Houston, he played alongside another new Packers receiver, Matthew Golden.
Brown will wear No. 17 for the Packers.
