If a large amount of 2025 NFL draft grades were rounded up and averaged out, what would the Indianapolis Colts’ GPA be?
Rene Bugner goes through this exercise, rounding up countless draft grades for each team every year. Following the 2025 NFL draft, Bugner sorted through 24 evaluations to determine each team’s GPA.

For the Colts, they for the most part received solid Bs for their 2025 draft class, earning a 2.92 GPA, which ranked 22nd compared to the rest of the NFL.
Contributing to Indianapolis’ GPA and providing a strong foundation were 11 Bs or B+ grades. Chad Reuter and PFF each gave the Colts an A, while Ryan McCrystal of Sharp Football gave the Colts an A-. These were Indianapolis’ three highest grades.
The Colts’ lowest grade came from Sporting News, which gave Indianapolis a C-. Overall, only five of the 24 grades for the Colts were below a B-.
I believe the general consensus on the NFL draft for the Colts is spot on–it was solid. The landed their do-it-all tight end, which was greatly needed, while JT Tuimoloau, DJ Giddens, and Tim Smith can carve out immediate rotational roles.

The addition of Jalen Travis at offensive tackle also helps the right guard position by freeing up Matt Goncalves to make that move, without hurting the tackle depth.
On the flip side, the Colts did leave the draft with some question marks still, specifically at linebacker, as ESPN noted, and although Goncalves is now freed up to move inside, is there going to be competition for him?
