Through small reveals in advance of Thursday, including the full international slate, we have a bit of a better idea about Miami’s travels. Fortunately, the Dolphins won’t have to do any international traveling this year.

However, according to Adam Schefter citing Bill Speros of Bookies.com, the Dolphins are still among the teams who will travel the furthest in the 2026 season. Miami checks in at sixth with 27,568 miles projected to be traveled. That’s a little over 400 miles from fourth-place Dallas.

Dolphins rank 6th in NFL in distance traveled during 2026 season

The Dolphins’ lengthy collective travel distance is nothing new. Miami was third in 2023, second in 2024, and sixth in 2025 in most miles traveled for their schedule.

The Dolphins’ isolated South Florida location, mixed in with NFC North and AFC West road trips, leads to some lengthy plane flights this year. Aside from their usual northeast divisional trips, the Dolphins will travel to Denver and Las Vegas as part of their divisional rotation, as well as Green Bay and Minnesota. The Dolphins also have a cross country trip to San Francisco.

We’ll find out exactly when all of those games will take place at 8:00 pm ET on Thursday, when the league will have its schedule reveal show on the NFL Network and ESPN2.
