NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Jayden Daniels is headed back to the national spotlight, this time on Netflix.
The former LSU quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner will be featured in Season 3 of Netflix’s “Quarterback,” the streaming service announced Wednesday. The new season premieres July 14 and follows Daniels, Joe Flacco, Baker Mayfield and Cam Ward through the 2025 NFL season.
Daniels became LSU’s third Heisman Trophy winner in 2023, joining Billy Cannon and Joe Burrow. He later became one of the NFL’s biggest young stars after winning the 2024 AP Offensive Rookie of the Year award with the Washington Commanders.
The Netflix season will follow a more difficult chapter for Daniels. After his breakout rookie season and a run to the NFC Championship Game, Daniels’ 2025 season was slowed by injuries.

The rest of the season’s quarterback lineup includes Mayfield with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Flacco during a season that included time with the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals, and Ward during his rookie year with the Tennessee Titans. Ward was selected with the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
“Quarterback” debuted in 2023 with Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins and Marcus Mariota. The second season featured Cousins, Jared Goff and Joe Burrow.
Season 3 premieres July 14 on Netflix.
