The day has arrived for the 2026 NFL schedule to be released, and more games are being leaked for the Chicago Bears.

One new leak from the X account, NFL Nerd, is that the Bears will host the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 13 on December 13 at 12:00 pm CST. No broadcast network has been named yet, with CBS the most likely since the NFC team is hosting an AFC team.

This will be the 10th meeting between the Bears and Jaguars, as they last played in 2024, with Chicago winning 35-16. The Bears are 6-3 all-time in the series.

The Bears will face the Jaguars in Week 13 of the 2026 NFL season

Chicago could be in for a battle as the Jaguars were one of the biggest surprise teams in the NFL. After having a top-five pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, led by first-year head coach Liam Coen, Jacksonville won the AFC South and made the playoffs.

The NFL is about to see two of the brightest offensive minds in the league go at it in the second half of the season. Coen and Bears head coach Ben Johnson both delivered massive turnarounds in Year 1, taking their teams to the playoffs.

Johnson might have a slight advantage since he helped his team win their Wild Card game and advance in the playoffs. The Jaguars lost to the Buffalo Bills in a close game during the AFC Wild Card weekend.

In no way is this a trap game, as both teams played well and have a bright future in the NFL. This might be a matchup that determines which young, second-year head coach is ready to take his team from good to great with a win. Bears fans want Johnson to be on the winning side of that battle.
