Vrabel has been involved in a highly publicized scandal involving his relationship with former The Athletic NFL reporter Dianna Russini, which has spanned for a few years.
Over the last month, photos and videos of Vrabel with Russini have surfaced, dating back to the Patriots head coach’s days with the Tennessee Titans.
This is relevant to the NFL schedule release videos because teams like to poke fun at their opponents in these videos, and the Chargers didn’t hold back on Vrabel and Russini.

In the video, a notification from the New York Post pops up, the publication that has been reporting much of the scandal.
The video also includes a sign that reads “Next Photo Dump 1 Mile,” likely referring to the photos that have surfaced with Vrabel and Russini.
The Chargers are known for making hilarious schedule release videos and having a strong presence on their social media accounts, so this shouldn’t come as a surprise.
It should also be noted that the NFL isn’t going to get involved in stopping teams from using Vrabel’s scandal in their videos, so it was inevitable that a team would use the story in its schedule release.
