NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Tennessee Titans rookies took a break from offseason workouts to give back to the community, volunteering at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.
The first-year players spent about an hour helping put food items in bags and packing boxes. By the end of the session, they finished with over 2,000 meals for kids in Tennessee.
The volunteer work is part of their developmental program. The 2026 draft class has spent the last two weeks getting acclimated on the field.
Second-round pick Anthony Hill Jr. said the opportunity allows him to connect with the city.
“It’s important to get to know the city and get to know the people that’s rooting for you and kind of knowing you so you have a deeper connection with the city,” Hill said. “We just got done working out so we came straight here now we are packing boxes kinda helping kids around the area in Tennessee so just getting integrated with the city.”
Hill said he has explored Nashville but has been focused on football.
“I got to explore a little bit, you know, just going around the city, checking out some food spots,” he said. “But I’ve been so busy with football I haven’t got a chance to do too much.”
The Titans announced just hours after Hill and the other rookies finished volunteering that they officially signed Hill. He is the seventh player from the 2026 draft class to reach a deal.
