It was a busy day for Tennessee Titans second-round pick Anthony Hill Jr, with the rookie linebacker working out, spending time in the community, and eventually signing his contract.
Hill and other rookies volunteered at the Second Harvest Food Bank, filling boxes of food and necessities for those in need, giving back to the Nashville community.
White at the food bank, Hill talked about his new teammates, what was happening, the schedule, and his time in the city.
“We all knew each other from around the country, but just being able to kind of meet with them and get to know them on a personal level has been cool.” Hill said, “We just got done working out. So we came straight here. Now we’re packing boxes, kinda helping kids around the area in Tennessee. So it’s getting integrated with the city.”
He followed that with an explanation of why that is important early in his career. “I feel like it’s important to kind of get to know the city and get to know the people that are rooting for you and kind of knowing you, so you have a deeper connection with the city.”
