MOSCOW, ID (CBS2) — The Idaho Vandal Football program is set to make an appearance on ESPN Networks twice this season, the Big Sky Conference and ESPN announced Thursday.

Fans can look forward to the Vandals renewing their historic rivalry with the Montana Grizzlies in the “Little Brown Stein” game on September 27. This classic matchup will air on either ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU, with the specific network and kickoff time to be announced later.

Adding to the excitement, Idaho’s game against Northern Arizona has been rescheduled to October 31, with a spooky 7:30 p.m. Pacific time kickoff. This Halloween showdown will be broadcast live on ESPN2.

Idaho is one of only two teams in the Big Sky Conference to have two games featured on ESPN’s linear networks this season. This marks the third consecutive year the Vandals have enjoyed such exposure.

In a first for the conference, the Big Sky has secured four regular-season games for national linear distribution on ESPN’s networks.

Additionally, the Vandals’ September 20 game against San Jose State will kick off at 2:00 p.m. and will be available on the Mountain West Network.
