Delta Air Lines will launch four nonstop flights to transport fans for two NFL international games in November. Two flights depart from Detroit to Munich for the Lions’ Week 10 contest against the New England Patriots. Two more leave Atlanta bound for Madrid, where the Falcons will face the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Detroit flights take off Nov. 11 and return Nov. 16. Each flight operates with Airbus A330 aircraft, offering seating in Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort, and Delta Main cabins.
“As the official airline of the Atlanta Falcons and the Detroit Lions, Delta looks forward to serving fans of both teams heading to their respective games in Madrid and Munich – connecting these fandoms with opportunities to cheer on their teams, whether at home or around the world,” the airline said, according to CBS Detroit.
The Munich game marks the first international contest for the Lions since 2015. Detroit finished 9-8 in 2025 and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2022, a disappointing end after consecutive winning seasons.
Changes swept through the franchise as it attempts to reclaim the NFC North. Staff departed and players moved on. The Lions released their 2026 schedule on Thursday. Week 1 arrives Sunday, Sept. 13, when they host the New Orleans Saints.
