NEW ORLEANS, La. (KLFY) — It may be a bit longer before we know who the starting quarterback for the New Orleans Saints will be for the 2025 season. But no matter who is selected to be QB 1, one thing for certain will be the wide receivers he’ll be throwing it to.

“With our receiving corps again. I think from a personal level, of great energy, great juice, really good people. Obviously, I think we got some speed there that we’ll try and emphasize, and I think we’ve got really smart players. I think that’s the one thing that’s shown up a lot is these guys can line up in a number of spots and handle the versatility and the volume of that, because that gives us more tools to work with,” Kellen Moore, Saints first-year head coach said.

Moore originally knew of Olave when he was in Dallas.

When he was first introduced to him, He saw a playmaker.

“He was coming out. What attracted us to us was in Dallas, you saw the skill set, you see the physical components,” Moore said. “So he’s got speed, he’s got excellent hands. He attacks the football. I think that’s the thing that jumps out on film. His spatial awareness and understanding of football is at an incredible level. I remember we went through a we do like a receiver test when we bring guys in. And I mean, he was, if not the best one of the top guys we’ve ever had as we went through that process too.
