The Buffalo Bills will receive the keys to the new Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park on Monday, June 1.

Construction company Gilbane Turner will hand the keys over after a temporary certificate of occupancy is issued.

It will allow them to legally occupy a property while minor construction is being finished.

The first event scheduled to take place is the annual Return of Blue and Red scrimmage, which traditionally takes place in early August.

The new stadium will feature state-of-the-art concourses and seven sensory rooms, the “Family Circle,” which will feature three giant American Bison statues located outside the stadium, and more.

The $2 billion stadium is set to hold about 60,000 fans.
