Several programs have been swinging at long-time Houston commit Keisean Henderson. One school that appears to have traction heading into the summer is Florida State.
The Seminoles are slated to get Henderson in for an official visit June 9. Tony Tokarz has built a great relationship with the Lone Star State talent and he would have an opportunity to be an instant impact player for Mike Norvell and FSU.
Houston and Willie Fritz have done a good of keeping Henderson locked in and excited about his future with the local program.
FSU will host at least six recruits on the first weekend of summer recruiting visits
Football:
The playoff has always been a bad idea and the more teams you add to it the more you devalue the regular season and the value of the mythical national title itself:
I think 12 was a good number. I have always been pro playoff expansion but we are going down a path that will completely diminish the regular season and conference championship games.

It’s anonymous coach quote season and anonymously coaches believe that there’s a disconnect between the culture of FSU’s team and its talent and that’s why Mike Norvell brought Gus Malzahn in.
“There’s a significant disconnect in the talent at this program. On paper, in the rankings, they’re doing great. But a lot of their rivals feel like they’re not recruiting at a truly elite level, and the guys they get aren’t developing.”
“Gus [Malzahn] is going to take it back to basics and do a lot of run-game at first. His hire was way more about culture and having the veteran in the room than it was about a particular kind of scheme.”
More kick-off times have been announced; including a 10:30PM start time for FSU’s west coach trip to Stanford.
