GIANTS SIGN BECKHAM

One of the Steelers’ biggest priorities this offseason was upgrading their wide receiver room. They did so, trading for Michael Pittman Jr. and drafting Germie Bernard in the second round. However, they could still use more depth at the position. Odell Beckham Jr. was one veteran free agent who’s been loosely linked to the Steelers, mostly because of Aaron Rodgers. He’s now off the market, though.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported on X that the New York Giants signed Beckham. They originally drafted Beckham in 2014, and he played for them for five seasons. Now, he’s back with the Giants, although he’s not the same player that he once was. It remains to be seen if he’ll stick on their 53-man roster.

Reunion: The #Giants are bringing back WR Odell Beckham Jr, as their former standout returns, per me and @MikeGarafolo.

BILLS WAIVE FORMER STEELERS CB

Corner Daryl Porter Jr. joined the Steelers in August last year, spending most of the season on their practice squad. Due to injuries, Porter saw action in an actual NFL game, playing in Week 16 against the Detroit Lions. However, they released him before the season ended, and Porter joined the Buffalo Bills.

Unfortunately, the Bills recently waived Porter, as KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson posted on Twitter. Porter entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Bills last year. They seemed to like him enough to bring him back for a second stint, but they’ve let him go again. We’ll see where he lands next.

HOWARD HELPS KIDS GOLF

Will Howard has been a notable topic of discussion for the Steelers this offseason. There were rumblings that he could’ve been their starter before Aaron Rodgers rejoined them. Perhaps he’ll get a shot at that job next year. While Howard is battling for the Steelers’ backup job, he’s still representing them well off the field.

Radio station 93.7 The Fan shared a video on Twitter of Howard at the Golf with Us event at the Bob O’Connor golf course. The point of the event is to help kids learn how to golf. It’s good to see a young player like Howard representing himself well off the field.
