NEW ORLEANS, La. (WGNO) – The New Orleans Saints step away from OTAs and into the metro area to refurbish the Trinity Community Center in the Hollygrove neighborhood.
“These types of things are few and far in between so being able to have more time in the offseason during OTAs to be able to come out here and actually be involved in the community and help out in ways that we can means a lot”, says defensive back Terrell Burgess.
It’s the second year in a row the Saints have helped the 18th Ward give the center a facelift.
The team believes that improvement on the football field will also be on display in year two under Kellen Moore.
“We’re going to be able to start off on more of a forward foot than we did last year because it wasn’t a new defense or offense. We have a lot of returning players so being able to have some sort of continuity than last year will definitely help us this season.”
