The Philadelphia Eagles made two roster moves within the past 24 hours. Here’s an overview:

DL Brandon Graham was released.LB Chandler Martin was re-signed.

Let’s sort through this news on a player-by-player basis.

Graham’s contract termination appears on the NFL’s official June 2 personnel notice but it was not officially announced by the Eagles. The reason for this? The 38-year-old’s release was procedural since it held post-June 1 cap implications by splitting his dead cap money between 2026 and 2027.

It’s entirely possible, if not likely, that the Eagles will still re-sign their two-time Super Bowl champion at some point.

All things considered, Graham was a quality rotational contributor last season after coming out of his brief retirement. He produced three sacks and two TFLs in 113 defensive snaps played over nine games. He also showed versatility to play at defensive tackle in addition to his normal role on the edge.

Only five Eagles players produced more sacks than Graham in the 2025 regular season:

EDGE Jalyx Hunt with 6.5 in 17 gamesDT Moro Ojomo with 6 in 17 gamesDT Jordan Davis with 4.5 in 17 gamesLB Nakobe Dean with 4 in 10 gamesLB Zack Baun with 3.5 in 16 games

From when Graham rejoined the Eagles in Week 9 through the end of the season in a playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers, only Hunt, Dean, and Jalen Carter had more sacks than BG in that span.

The Eagles should re-sign BG. Do you agree?

The Eagles waived Martin on Monday to make room for the Samori Toure signing. The BG move gave the team another roster spot for the time being, so, they’re bringing Martin back.
