The Denver Broncos have a long and storied history of being one of the best teams in the NFL as it pertains to their alumni.
Another one of their alumni success stories is Super Bowl 50 champion T.J. Ward. Ward recently was the Broncos’ alumni representative announcing the team’s 2026 NFL draft’s Day 2 pick, defensive lineman Tyler Onyedim, in April.
“Although I wasnt drafted in Denver, it has become my football home,” Ward wrote in an Instagram post, sharing pictures of himself from the NFL draft podium in Pittsburgh. “I did not attend the 2010 draft night when I was drafted in the second round, so it was great to experience what the green room is like with all the other great team representatives. It was an honor to be on that stage representing #BroncosCountry and presenting the Broncos 2026 Draft pick. Nothing but love for the organization, the fans, and the city that embraced me from day one.”

Ward played with the Broncos from 2014-17, playing a huge role in bringing home the franchise’s third world championship as part of the “No Fly Zone” defense in 2015. He surely will be seen around Empower Field at Mile High in the future, now as a fan and ambassador of the club.
