The Minnesota Vikings have enjoyed finding some proverbial diamonds in the rough through their UDFA classes. Players like Ivan Pace Jr., Blake Brandel, and Jalen Redmond in recent years have enjoyed becoming key players for the team. While it is early in the process, as OTAs wrapped up and minicamp is on the horizon, another UDFA is already rising through it all.
The Athletic’s Alec Lewis that while everyone is watching the quarterbacks, he couldn’t “take my eyes off” of Dillon Bell. The UDFA out of Georgia was making plays and catches all over the place for Minnesota as he started to build a connection with the signal callers.
During his time with the Bulldogs, Bell caught 119 passes for 1,269 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. The Vikings have one of the deepest wide receiver rooms in the NFL, but adding someone younger and who can change things up as Bell can.
