Dare had announced his commitment to Michigan on Aug. 4, 2025, but he decommitted on March 31. After decommitting, he received an offer from Penn State and officially visited Stanford and Missouri. He took the visit to Mizzou on Friday, committing just four days later.

Dare is the Tigers’ 14th pledge from the Class of 2027. He marks the fourth offensive lineman, joining three-star Lual Aleu, three-star Luke Injaychock and three-star Jack Marquard.

Standing at 6-foot-3.5, 290 pounds, Dare plays as an interior offensive lineman at Southlake Carroll High School in Southlake, Texas. He ranks as the No. 844 player in the country and the No. 52 interior offensive lineman.

In high school, Dare also competes on the track and field team. As a junior, he threw shotput.
