WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Alex Highsmith hosted his annual youth football camp at Ashley High School.
The Alex Highsmith Family Foundation camp is open to boys and girls in grades two through eight. Athletes learned football fundamentals and leadership skills. Highsmith and other coaches were on the field.
The foundation says it is focused on empowering the next generation and fostering a legacy of faith, family and football.
Highsmith is a Wilmington native and Ashley High School graduate.
