NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The final week of the Tennessee Titans’ offseason program begins Tuesday with mandatory minicamp.
Every player on the Titans roster is required to attend. Players who do not attend will be fined by the NFL.
It marks the first time players have been required to participate. Every other activity during the offseason program has been voluntary.
Head coach Robert Saleh has been able to get a solid idea of what he is working with in his first year as Tennessee’s head coach. The Titans have not made any new transactions during their offseason program.
The team cannot make trades during this period, but can sign free agents. The Titans have not signed a free agent since May 1.
“Anytime, that’s where I think Borgo (Mike Borgonzi) is great. We are constantly evaluating the roster and where we are at. If you feel like there is an area where you can get better, and there is a player out there that can make us better. You are always going to try to pursue that,” Saleh said.
Mandatory minicamp will run through Thursday. The team will then take a summer break until late July, when training camp begins.
