Mike Waufle invited as guest coach of Jacksonville Jaguars
ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – One of the area’s all-time greatest football coaches is back in the NFL.
Hornell’s Mike Waufle was invited to serve as a guest coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars this week for the team’s mini camp. Waufle, 71, won a Super Bowl as the defensive line coach with the New York Giants in 2008 and spent nearly 20 years in the NFL with stops working for the Raiders, Rams and the finally with the Buffalo Bills where he retired in 2017.
Waufle was invited by Jaguars head coach, Liam Coen, who is now in his second year leading the franchise. Mike will be a special guest at this year’s Mike D’Aloisio Memorial Lineman Camp July 7 and 8 at Horseheads High School. 18 Sports is proud to team up with Horseheads football for a memorable event in the coming weeks.
