A Dallas Renegades standout is getting his shot to make an NFL roster this summer.
On Tuesday, the Renegades announced that cornerback Shaun Wade had signed with the Philadelphia Eagles. Wade was a key part of the Renegades’ secondary throughout the 2026 season, finishing second in the UFL with nine pass breakups and third in the league with three interceptions.
This would be the latest opportunity for Wade to make his mark in the NFL. The former Ohio State defender was selected with the 160th overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft by the Baltimore Ravens. He was only in Baltimore for a few months, as he was traded to New England ahead of his rookie season.
The cornerback appeared in 20 games for the Patriots from 2021-23. He later had brief stints with the Los Angeles Chargers and Chicago Bears before landing with the Renegades in 2026.
Wade will look to stick around in Philadelphia. According to the UFL, the Renegades are retaining Wade’s rights should he return to the league in the future.
