Penn State landed its second linebacker commitment in the Class of 2027.
Linebacker Case Alexander committed to Penn State on Sunday, per Hayes Fawcett of On3.
Alexander is set to join his older brother, Cooper Alexander, on the Nittany Lions. Cooper, a redshirt sophomore transfer from Iowa State, plays tight end.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder is a 4-star recruit according to the 247Sports composite. He’s ranked as the No. 266 player nationally, No. 22 linebacker and No. 7 player out of Oklahoma.
Alexander had 20 offers from FBS programs and chose the Nittany Lions over Oklahoma, Kansas State and Texas Tech.
He received an offer from coach Matt Campbell on Dec. 23 after his junior season with Washington High School, where he played both linebacker and tight end.
Alexander’s junior campaign came to an end in the Class 2A-I Championship game, falling to Jones High School, 20-14, on Dec. 12.
Alexander was a part of the large official visit group on June 5, along with a majority of the committed class, and his commitment to Penn State to play alongside his brother is locked in.
