Ravens announce first-ever training camp in Prince George’s County

The Baltimore Ravens announced that the team will hold a training camp practice at the University of Maryland on Aug. 1, marking the first time the purple and metallic gold hold an open practice at SECU Stadium.The Saturday 11 a.m. practice will be free to the public and includes a post-practice autograph session for children ages 6-12, the team said. The event will also include children’s activities, fan activations, appearances by the Ravens Cheerleaders and performances by Baltimore’s Marching Ravens.”We are excited to bring training camp to the University of Maryland and expand our connection with Ravens fans in Prince George’s County,” Ravens President Sashi Brown stated. “This unique collaboration deepens our roots throughout Maryland, while allowing our team to practice at one of the nation’s best collegiate athletic facilities.”Last week, the Ravens announced that this year’s training camp will feature 12 open practices over four weeks starting on Wednesday, July 29. The College Park practice is in addition to the previously announced open practices and is being branded as a “Stadium Practice.”Tickets for the special open practice will be available starting July 9 on a limited, first-come, first-served basis.
