KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Day 15 of the FIFA World Cup in Kansas City got off to an incredible (orange) start as more than 35,000 people packed downtown Kansas City, Missouri, for an oranje march down Grand Boulevard.
The Netherlands is set to square off against Tunisia at 6 p.m. at Kansas City Stadium.

UPDATE, 4:40 p.m. | Before 4:30 p.m., it was announced FIFA Fan Fest will remain closed for the rest of the day due to adverse weather.
“The safety of the public, staff, volunteers and entertainers remains our top priority,” KC2026 said in a post announcing the closure.
UPDATE, 3 p.m. | KC2026 advises there may be temporary pauses in ConnectKC26 service — Regional Direct, Stadium Direct and Airport Direct — as storms move through the area.
UPDATE, 2 p.m. | Originally set to open at 1 p.m., FIFA Fan Fest opened at noon to accommodate fans from the Orange Walk. However, the festival was evacuated shortly before 2 p.m. due to “forecasted adverse weather conditions.”

“Due to forecasted adverse weather conditions, FIFA Fan Festival is being cleared as a precaution and will be closed until further notice,” KC2026 posted in an operational update. “We advise fans not to travel to FIFA Fan Festival as a result. Fans should follow instructions from event staff on site.”
