The drop off from Carolina to New Orleans in total EPA is eye-opening. The Panthers offense total EPA is -44.31. The Saints are behind Carolina with a total EPA of -98.53. That is a huge drop off. Now, to be fair, how much of this is attributed to Rattler and the Saints’ offense that began the season? I’m sure that has a large role in it, but the Saints offense with Shough offset the deficit, which makes you think, how much worse the offense could have been if the Saints stuck with Rattler?
