Eagles defensive end Bryce Huff must have seen the reports circulating about his impending trade Friday and went on social media to share his thoughts.

On his Instagram account, Huff posted a story with picture of himself sitting in a chair, looking at a camera down and holding up two fingers, similar to the way someone would say “deuces,” meaning they are leaving somewhere.

Huff reportedly is about to be traded to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for a mid-round draft pick, allowing him to jump-start his career and reunite with Robert Saleh, the 49ers’ defensive coordinator who was the Jets’ head coach for three of the first four seasons Huff was in the league.

A league source told NJ Advance Media that a trade has not yet been finalized, but the team is working toward making a deal.

Huff joined the Eagles in the 2024 offseason after signing a three-year, $51.1 million contract to replace Haason Reddick as their top edge rusher. However, he finished last season with 2.5 sacks after a slow start and missing five games because of a wrist injury, a considerable drop from the 10 he had in his final season with the Jets.

Huff would struggle to see considerable playing time in the upcoming season with linebackers Nolan Smith and Jalyx Hunt solidified as the top edge rushers, the Eagles signing Azeez Ojulari and Josh Uche in free agency, and drafting linebacker Jihaad Campbell, who has played on the edge as well as an off-the-ball linebacker, in the first round.
