Ready for more quarterback rankings featuring Cincinnati Bengals star Joe Burrow?
Rankings are all the rage right now as the NFL sits on break ahead of training camp. One set of recent rankings has Burrow behind just one name.
Another, courtesy of Bryan DeArdo of CBS Sports, puts Burrow in the “transcendent talents” category with four other passers.
“Burrow is probably as good as the aforementioned players, but injuries prevented him from receiving similar accolades, DeArdo wrote. “Now healthy, Burrow has lofty goals for himself and his team in 2026.”

If nothing else, it’s nice Burrow’s injury history doesn’t hold him back on lists like this. Otherwise, he might fall into the second tier here with the likes of Jalen Hurts as “borderline stars.”
But Burrow is indeed a star, if not the top quarterback in the NFL while on the field. That’s why the Bengals went all-in around him this offseason, spending huge money, trading for Dexter Lawrence and taking modern approaches to contracts.
