The NFL preseason starts in just over a month, and the regular season will be here just another month after that. After 4 and a half months of the offseason, football is almost back.
And with the action getting so close, it’s time to start thinking about who has the top talent in the league after all the offseason maneuvering that has taken place. And no position is more important than quarterback in the NFL. Recently, Pro Football Focus (PFF) analysts Max Chadwick and Dalton Wasserman dropped their list of the Top 10 quarterbacks in the league ahead of the coming season.
Coming in at No. 1 is Josh Allen, with high expectations still being placed on the shoulders of Buffalo’s starter. Despite missing much of last season with an injury and being fairly injury-prone over the course of his career, Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow came in at No. 2, with the deadly dual-threat weapon Lamar Jackson taking third place. The AFC dominated the top part of the list, with Patrick Mahomes returning from a season-ending injury in the No. 4 spot.
Last season’s NFL MVP, Matthew Stafford, rounded out the Top 5, with Brock Purdy, Dak Prescott, Drake Maye, Jordan Love, and Justin Herbert also making the Top 10. Check out the Top 10 in order below.
