The “NFL Top 100 Players” is an annual NFL offseason tradition. There are a few names from the Kansas City Chiefs expected to make the cut, but there are also many opponents featured in this year’s rankings. Player No. 97 is a player they are scheduled to see across from them this coming season.
No. 97 is Seattle Seahawks linebacker Ernest Jones IV.
Jones started 15 games for the Seahawks in the 2025 season, earning Second-team All-Pro honors. He was a standout during the Super Bowl LX victory over the New England Patriots, recording 11 tackles, 10 of which were solo, in the game.
Jones and the Seahawks met the Chiefs in a preseason matchup last year, but head coach Andy Reid notably rested his starters. The Chiefs will visit the Seahawks again in Week 7 of the 2026 season at Lumen Field on Sunday Night Football.
