The Indianapolis Colts announced today that they will induct longtime kicker Adam Vinatieri into their Ring of Honor during the Week Six home game against the Tennessee Titans. Vinatieri, who spent 14 seasons with the Colts, played a pivotal role in the team’s Super Bowl victory following the 2006 season. He is set to be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame next month.

Vinatieri, known for his clutch performances, is the all-time NFL leader in scoring with 2,673 points. He played 24 seasons in the NFL, splitting his career between the Colts and the New England Patriots. During his tenure, he won four Super Bowls, including one with the Colts.

The Colts’ decision to honor Vinatieri comes as he prepares for his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, a recognition of his remarkable career and contributions to the sport. Vinatieri will become the 21st member of the Colts’ Ring of Honor, joining other team legends like Reggie Wayne and Jeff Saturday.
