Prediction
Quinshon Judkins
Dylan Sampson
Raheim Sanders
Michael Burton (Fullback)
With a combo of Judkins and Sampson the Cleveland Browns should be in a very strong position at the running back room over the coming years. They ought to be able to produce to a high level in the rushing game as well as the passing game from the running back position. The issue with the running back position is that it only produces if the offensive line and passing game is there to support it else you load the boxes and stop it.
The one challenge they have with Sampson is he is better suited to the receiving game, they really need to find another back who can be a consistent rushing threat when Judkins isn’t on the field. Maybe this is something Sampson can develop more of heading in year two.
While there will be the chance for Davon Booth & TJ Harden to battle for a roster spot the favorite will be Raheim Sanders. He had a weird 2025 season, playing three snaps week one then not playing again offensively until week 16 with replacement level players given time ahead of him. If he doesn’t produce, they could turn to a cheap veteran player at cut downs or in free agency who could come in and do a job as a third back.
I believe Michael Burton will make the roster as a fullback. While he might get some play offensively he also brings a fantastic level of experience and skill to their special teams unit. When you are comparing the return on investment to someone like Zinter, it is an easy choice for me taking a fullback over a fourth guard.
