Grant Delpit
In December 2023 they signed him to a three year $36m extension, he is in a difficult spot where he isn’t an elite player but you could also do a lot worse at the position. He will turn 28 at the start of the season, if he fits Mike Rutenberg plans then it makes sense to extend him. Guarantee him during 2026 and 2027, then have team options to get out of the deal in 2028 and 2029. Here is a projection of what that deal looks like for OBR VIP subscribers.
Ronnie Hickman
There is no need to rush to a decision with Hickman until we see more. His 2025 season saw ups and downs, if we look at his PFF grade (50% min snaps) before and after the Cleveland Browns’ bye week we see two very different seasons. Before the bye 3rd out of 67, then after the bye it was 55th out of 65. He is due to make $3.52m this year, maybe the team could look to agree an extension before week one but it would require the coaching staff to get a clear picture of the trio working together during training camp and the preseason.
Maliek Collins
He will turn 32 before the draft next season, so how he ages this season will be important. If the Browns get to the end of this season and Hall hasn’t taken a step forward then an extension is possible next offseason. Since Graham can’t be extended until he has completed his third season they have some financial flexibility.
Teven Jenkins
As things stand Elgton Jenkins and Zion Johnson are both starting on the interior. The final spot is feels like a very open competition. If he starts and does well then an extension is possible during the bye but it could be one they wait for the offseason. There appears to be very little interest across the league in him due to his injuries based on the Browns getting very good value in back to back offseasons.
Isaiah McGuire
There are a lot of similarities in his production and Alex Wrights, better results in the run than the pass rushing plus an inconsistency in his play from week to week. This didn’t stop them extending Wright so the chance is there. If he has a nice 2026 then they could extend him as they will want to build a deep defensive line, similar to how the Eagles operate. The ball is very much in his court as he needs to produce.
Corey Bojorquez
There is certainly uncertainty based on them currently having three punters on the roster. He is the clear favorite though and is most likely to win the job. It is probably going to be one year extensions for him moving forward now in his career but if they keep the coaching staff together and he has a strong year, more could be added.
