The Cleveland Browns were able to trade down and still nab Utah offensive tackle Spencer Fano ninth overall in the 2026 NFL Draft, and Fano looks to be the anchor of the offensive line moving forward. What exactly are the Browns getting in their new blindside protector, and what kind of a player does his tape show?
As a freshman, Fano finished his season on a high note, especially with his performance against the Arizona Wildcats, which we took a look at. Today, we’ll go over his 2025 outing against the same team. The Utes were demolished by the Wildcats in 2023, and while they made things a lot closer in this one, they still fell short, dropping their first game of the season and falling from their #10 rank. Fano put together yet another all-around strong game, allowing one pressure (or zero) for the fourth straight week. Fano’s consistent improvement in pass protection is impressive, as he’s come a very long way from last season.
