BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — There’s a new scavenger hunt for people to go and explore the 716 — and possibly win Buffalo Bills home opener tickets.
“Buffalo’s a really special place, right? And being a steward of the community, Highmark is always trying to push people to get out and get active and get moving, and I think this scavenger hunt does exactly that while also touching upon all the unique things that make Buffalo, Buffalo,” said Jenna Morrison, the senior brand partnership activation specialist for Highmark.
You might have started to notice Highmark’s blue heart decals popping up in locations throughout Western New York. On 716 day, they launched the Heart of Buffalo Health Quest.
“If you see them out and about, you can sign the QR code right on it, and it will take you to a landing page that explains how to get involved,” Morrison said.
People ages 18 and older can participate by downloading an app called “Goosechase” and signing into Highmark’s Heart of Buffalo Quest by using this code: HMKHOB.
People can complete several missions throughout the community, from fitness exercises to exploring local arts and cultures. New missions will launch on Thursdays throughout the quest.
Participants can complete these missions to collect points and then be entered in different tiers for prizes. The top tier will enter participants into a drawing for a pair of tickets to the home opener at the new Highmark Stadium.
“Nothing unites our community like the Buffalo Bills, and I think having this partnership with us, and doing this scavenger hunt, it sort of brings locals plus Bills fans, whether you’re a Bills fan or not, kind of together to explore these types of things,” Morrison said.
The quest is open up until Aug. 12, and then people will be able to collect their prizes at the new 1.7-mile Highmark Trail at the new stadium, which will open year-round starting Aug. 24.
