Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are now married, with the NFL player and pop superstar tying the knot in a big ceremony at Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3. Now, a couple of weeks after the wedding, the newlyweds seem to be getting back to normal life. The two recently attended the wedding of Kelce’s former teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster and his bride, Laura Kruk, their first public event as husband and wife.
Reportedly, this event “lifted their spirits” after the Daily Mail reported that some in Kelce’s “circle” were not happy that they got invited to the wedding but not the rehearsal dinner. In fact, the outlet revealed that some of Kelce’s current teammates have taken the “trash talk” to the multiple group chats of Kansas City Chiefs’ players. Ouch.

“They are typically very good at blocking out the noise, but to have all these nasty stories coming out about his teammates being jealous and trash-talking them is pretty disheartening,” an insider told Star. “He’s got to go back to that locker room any day now, and that’s bound to be uncomfortable because clearly there’s a lot of jealousy towards him.”
According to TMZ, Kelce was recently seen in Florida, working out for the first time since his and Swift’s big day. Training camp for the Chiefs is set to start soon, and the NFL season will kick off once again in September.
“They’re finding it quite exhausting keeping up with all the rumors and all the mischief that people are making,” the source added. “Wasting time on that sort of nonsense isn’t pleasant at any time, but especially when they are trying to enjoy their first days as husband and wife.”
And that’s partly why Smith-Schuster’s wedding was such a good time for them. “They did have a wonderful time,” sources explained. “That really helped to lift their spirits. It was a great reset, and so fun to be able to relive the whole wedding experience without all the pressure of being the bride and groom.”
What about honeymoon plans? “They just don’t want anything getting leaked,” a source told Star. “They want to be able to enjoy this special time with total privacy.”
They continued, “There’s the option to rent out the entire property, which she’d likely want to do for privacy, and that can cost upwards of $500K for a week.” Not that they’d have trouble paying it.
Before, it had been reported that the two were considering a long honeymoon in Europe and the Caribbean and even an “ultra-private” honeymoon at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito.
For now, the Daily Mail says the two enjoyed a private “mini-moon” at the Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana. Presumably, any longer honeymoon will have to wait until the NFL season is over. In the meantime, it’s back to training for Kelce, and if fans get their wish, back to the studio for Swift.
