Saquon Barkley speaks out after burglary at Chester County home
Philadelphia Eagles running back and Penn State football alum Saquon Barkley has spoken publicly for the first time after burglars targeted his Chester County home.
While speaking with NBC Sports Philadelphia at the Merion Golf Club, Barkley said the incident disturbed his family’s peace but confirmed that everyone is safe, no one was hurt, and nothing was taken.
“It’s definitely scary. I’ll tell you that, but we’re good,” Barkley said.
Barkley shared that his daughter was not home during the incident, but his two youngest children were. He has since increased security at his home.
According to authorities, when officers arrived at the home on Saturday, the suspects had already fled the scene.
