Jadeveon Clowney is reportedly returning to a familiar NFL landing spot.
According to the Houston Chronicle and NFL Network, the former Dallas Cowboys edge rusher has agreed to a new deal with the Houston Texans. The Texans notably selected Clowney with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft.
In 2026, Clowney will look to contribute to a Houston defense that is projected as one of the NFL’s best. He suited up for the Texans from 2014-18, posting 205 total tackles, 64 tackles for loss, 29 sacks, 11 pass deflections and five forced fumbles. After his first Houston stint ended, Clowney played for the Seattle Seahawks, Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens and Carolina Panthers.
