Former JMU football player Mekhi Rodgers signed with the Indianapolis Colts, the team announced Wednesday.

In the first two years of his collegiate career, the cornerback played at the Division III level for Hobart College. Rodgers put up 36 tackles and 10 pass breakups through 19 appearances. In his junior season, Rodgers started all 11 games at St. Francis, recording 25 tackles — including 19 solo tackles — along with seven pass breakups.

Transferring to JMU for his senior season, Rodgers played in all 13 games, recording eight tackles — one against Troy in the Sun Belt Championship. The Pennsylvania native was also named to the JMU Athletic Director’s Scholar-Athlete list twice, as well as the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District list.

Rodgers is the fifth Duke from the 2025 program to be on an NFL training camp roster.
